Description

It is a rectangular block of wood with a carved relief of the letter "R" backwards (movable typeface). The pigment has naturally darkened with age and use. The relief is matte black with small areas of light borne. The carved down portion is dark blue and red with layer of dust. The back is discoloured and marked with faded black and red pigment. Crack forming right of the centre that is evident on both sides (9.5cm on front and 7.5cm on back).
