Description

It is a rectangular block of wood with a hand carved relief of the letter "H" (movable typeface). The relief is dark burgundy and dark blue. The carved down portion is dark brown and red with the carving marks evident. The right and left sides of the back are covered in glued on paper that is discoloured by dirt/grime. The uncovered wood is discoloured and marked by faded black and brown pigment.
