It is a rectangular block of wood with a hand carved relief of the letter "P" backwards (movable typeface). The relief is dark Burgundy and the carved down portion is marked with burgundy/brown and colour of wood is evident. The back is covered in two strips of glued on pieces of paper that is warping/bubbling (6.5x21cm). Visible wood is minority discoloured and marked with faded black and auburn pigment. Materials
