Description

It is a small rectangular block of wood with a carved relief of the letter "P" backwards (movable typeface). The pigment has naturally darkened and the relief surface is glossy/smooth as the original coat of varnish is evident. The relief is burnt orange with spots of black and red pigment. The carved down portion is brown and red. The back is dark brown with varying levels of saturation and has raised lines across the surface. The bottom left negative space of the "P" has been carved out.
