Description

Painting of Strasbourg in 1978 for the 50th anniversary of Vern and Louise Everett, Strasbourg area farmers and later, residents of the Town of Strasbourg.  It was painted by Mary Surridge, from a photo of the skyline from the golf course.  It was given to Dennis Everette who died in 2016 in Prince George, BC and was then given to Marie Everett.  Doreen Wagner suggested the Strasbourg Museum to be its permanent home.  


The sky is light blue with streaks of clouds in the sky.  There are three grain elevators seen among other buildings.  The sand from a golf hole can be seen.
