Description

White linen damask; some spots and stains.  Made by Sophie Herbster's grandmother around 1880-1885, they grew the flax, bleached and spun into thread, then in the factory it was woven into cloth.  Belonged to Sophie's mother, Sophie B. Mueller.  Embroidered in faded red "S.B."
