Uglum Lumber Yard building, located at 202 2nd avenue west.There are 2 men, one holding reins of a pony, and a small child standing by the main entrance. There is a man standing by the entrance to the lumber yard. Bottom of postcard reads: Oral Spelling Contest, Sept. 12, 1917. 1st PRIZE - Pony, donated by N.J. Uglum, Manager, Shaunavon Yard. 2nd PRIZE - Jewelled Gold Bracelet Watch donated by L.B. Uglum, Manager, Eastend Yard"
