Cast Iron Waffle maker with a diamond design on the plates. The plates open with a hinge and fit into a base that is also cast iron. The base would sit on the heating source (stove, wood fire). There are semi-circular levers on the top and bottom pf the plates so that the plates can be opened. There are half-circle holders on the top and bottom of the plates (when closed these become circles). These holders fit into a cut-out on the base. There are also cu-outs for the hinge opposite the handle and above the handle. The plates are circular and divided into quarters. Each quarter has a diamond pattern that increases from 2 diamonds to 5 diamonds and the last row is 7 diamonds.
