This piece was produced as a fabric template and is displayed in the Good Medicine People space, featuring a crest created by Indigenous artist, Dale Cheechoo in 2003 for the College of Medicine. miyo-maskihkiy stands for 'Good Medicine' in the Nehiyawewin Cree language.

Today, the crest is displayed on the white coats worn by medical students at the University of Saskatchewan. A White Coat Ceremony is held as a rite of passage, marking students’ entrance into their journey in medicine. The inclusion of the crest on the white coats not only signifies the start of their careers but also affirms an act of reconciliation between the Undergraduate Medical Education Leadership and Indigenous people, acknowledging the importance of Indigenous knowledge within the institution.

In collaboration with Bluewater Graphics, this design was produced and served as a prototype for developing other items, including its use as the base for the doorway of a tipi, which is still actively utilized by the College of Medicine for various events.
