A French ivory shoe horn. It is broken in half and is missing the handle end of the horn.
The object's use is to ease a person's foot into their shoe. It would go against the inner heel of the shoe and the person would slide their foot into the shoe. Once the foot was fully in, the shoe horn would be removed from position.
