Written on the photo in various media from left to right: Shaunavon Hotel, Lunch Room, Hotel, Stevenson’s (burned in 1931), Regent Cafe and Bank of Commerce. Also written on the front of the photo is “Shaunavon. Sask.” and the number “41”. Written on the back of the photo in blue pen and pencil “Before 1922 (McNicol & Brown became Thompson’s in 1922) ? Aird’s?, Stevenson’s Corner store burned 1923, Shaunavon Hotel - Empress, burned Dec 1913, had south door at south end.” The number “58” is also written on the back of the photo.
