Black and white photograph of Centre Street Shaunavon, Saskatchewan, looking from the east side of the street toward the southwest. Buildings visible from left to right: “Ford (The Universal Car), ? Power & Light Plants, Drugs, C.P.R. Station, Shaunavon Hotel, Rex Cafe, Royal Cafe, Tompson’s General Store, ?, ?, Naismith ?”. Many late model cars evident, a horse and bicycle. There are many people about. The Union Jack flag is evident and signs across the street “Welcome to our City”. Photo was taken in July (taken from store sign July Sale). Written in the upper right corner in black ink and circled “75” and written in grease pencil in the upper right boarder is the number “78” and in the sky “1924”. Stamped on the back of the photo in black ink “8 3”. Has a negative 2002.32.51~root~>
