Description

*Background block* Rectangular tongue and groove joined wood block. Front: stained a combo of green 12.5cm at the top and remaining 34.3cm yellow. Block is mostly relief wood with 2 recessed sections and on recessed detail along the bottom edge. First recessed section is at the top shaped like a short T measuring 31.1cm wide by 8.5cm long horizontally beginning (top left corner) 1.5cm from the left edge and 0.8cm from the top edge. The vertical section of the T begins (top left corner) 11.8cm from the left edge and 9.7cm from the top edge and covers an area 10.5cm wide by 6.7cm long. The second recessed section is a circle measuring 13cm in diameter, 2.5cm from the left edge and 21.6cm down from the top edge. Final recessed detail at the bottom is a row of leaves; 7 leaves angling to the left and 7 to the right with the center 2 forming a "v" shape. Leaves cover approximately 0.5cm long by 0.7cm wide. Sides: residual ink stains near the front edges and dark ink stains in the wood grain, which are more noticeable on the left and right sides. Back: two strips of paper are attached at the top: 1) 1.1cm from the top edge--3.8cm long by 33.1cm wide 2) 2.5cm below 1st strip--7.5cm long by 34.0cm wide. "Bottom" has been stamped in red in the bottom right corner. Faint ink stains in wood grain.
