Description
A liberty Fire Extinguisher manufactured by Liberty Fire Extinguisher Co. of Canada Limited Wawanesa Manitoba for the Saskatchewan Mutual Fire Insurance Company in Saskatoon Saskatchewan. The dry chemicals are in a red and navy blue tube. The top of the tube has a metal ring attached to a metal top. The ring would be used for hanging the fire extinguisher. The bottom of the fire extinguisher has a metal cap. The fire extinguisher label indicates price of $4.00 and had directions along with a warning to keep dry and that the chemicals are harmless to person and fabrics. To open the extinguisher it is stricken forcibly and says never sprinkle. A section reads that "the original dry chemical guaranteed to retain its full strength until used and never to cake of deteriorate with age. Non Freezing and non poison. Established 1898. Beware of imitations. "
