Vintage Silk stockings from the 1930's or 1940's. That period had seams that matched the stocking. The stockings are a nude colour which was acceptable. During that time women could not show their legs without there being some cover on them.The stockings are reinforced at the heel and toe. The seams on these stockings are black and there is a design at the heel that comes up 2 1/2 inches on the ankle. The design is on both sides of the stockings. The tops of the stockings are reinforced and stretchy so that they fit over the thigh. The stockings were held up by either a garter belt or a girdle that would have had suspenders with clips.
