Description
A floor model General Electric Radio. The radio plugs in and does have tubes. The cabinet is wood and there are stains on the top of the radio. There are 3 knobs on the front of the radio above the speaker which is beige and has wood inserts in it. Tube radios were used until transistors were invented in 1947 and were used in 1954. The radio was made by General Electric Canada and is model J-125 Serial number 421. The radio has 12 tubes. and this radio cost approximately $147.00 in 1932.
