Description
A rust coloured soft covered book of songs of hope and cheer for the toilers and all who are interested in a better world and order. The songs are composed and partly arranged from different sources by N. J. L Bergen of Wetaskiwin, Alberta. There is a dedication of the book to his wife and father and mother-in-law as well to friends and the toilers in Canada-his adopted country. There is no music in the book just the words to songs and below the song title is the Tune. There are 48 pages in the book with verses for 42 songs. The last page of the book states that "Most of the songs marked "arranged" are arranged from Harvey P. Mayer's "songs of Socialism": Chicago, U. S. A.". The first page in the book has the Scandinavian Society Stamp on it.
