Description
An adenotome. The adenotome is a tool used during adenoidectomy (to remove the tonsil and andenoid*). It is put trough the oral cavity and the box is put around the andenoid to grab it out.

*An Andenoid is a mass of lymphatic tissue. It is located between the back of the nose and throat of young children. This will usually slowly disappear as people age into adults. While it is still there, it can either be infected or enlarged causing things like: Adenoiditis, Enlarged Andenoids, Obstructed sleep apnea, or Ear infections.The adenotone was donated by Dr. Kiteley's daughter.
