Description
A brown and black, wood, handmade, checker board. It is believed to be made by J. Benson . It would be played in the barber shop and many people carved their names into the sides. The names include: E.E. Fellows, Roy Hart, J. Kerr, J. Benson, H.T. Bryce, H.H Fellows G. Bischop, D.G. Mckay, W. Bryce, G. Lehman, F. Siddle, A.W. Scott, J.R. Miller, G. Lumley, R. Harden, A.R. Lowe, S.I. Woods, & B.Rode.
