A silver slipper pin cushion holder. In the late 1800's to the early 1900's silver Ornaments were used to hold pin cushions. It started with small bowl shapes and people became more creative with things like silver elephants or silver slippers. This particular slipper had no pin cushion when given to the museum. There is no obvious creator but on the bottom of the heel there is " JB 1026 00 " engraved into the metal.~root~>
