Description

Black and white picture of a street in Shaunavon, some kind of motorcade is in progress, There are many people on the street. Buildings identifiable from left to right: “Hotel Kennedy, Drugs, Shaunavon Post Office, The Trading Co. and Hoberlin Tailoring”. Written in blue pen and attached to the photograph by cellulose tape “seems to be the man of the hour, Dr. A.W. Hicks, Sr. Swanston, Shaunavon Sask. Post Office, The Trading Co. and Hoberlin Tailoring”. In the bottom foreground on the right side of the photograph is a piece of cellulose with the date “1914” written on it in pencil. There is also a white circle with the number “10” in it that has been “X” out. Written on the back with a circle around it in pencil “10” and “1614” there is also another circle but it is unclear what is inside it. The date “1914” is written in pencil on the back of the photograph and also in grease pencil. The whole of the back is covered in dry glue.
