Photographic postcard, centre street, 300 block, west side, looking north. Black and white picture of main street in Shaunavon, Sask in July 1943. Buildings visible from left to right: “J.B. Innes Ltd. Men’s and Boy’s Ware, Ohio Cafe, McGregor Drugs and Stationary, Hugh Stevenson Limited, Dentist, Exchange Bakery, Kut-N- ? Beauty Parlour, Tailor, Shaunavon Butchers , Idlehour Dance Hall and Post Office (Benison Building)”. There are late model cars and a truck along the street. Written on the front in black ink “Specimen D38” in the upper right boarder also written in black grease pencil in the upper right sky area “97”. The back is set up as a post card. Has a negative.
