Description
Black and white picture of early Shaunavon, Sask. identified building, “J.N. Brown General Merchant, The Pioneer Hardware Fennell Bros., ?, Eat, Pool Room and Barber Shop Cigars & Tobaccos, ?, ?, ? and Drug Store”. There is a late model car in front of Fennell’s with “Livery” written on the back. There are also some tents evident in the picture and a horse drawn wagon. People in the picture are not identified. The left bottom corner is worn and there are two developing errors in the picture one at 7.1 cm and one at 18.5 cm. There is some kind of development spotting starting at the middle of the picture and running right, mostly in the foreground. Written in pencil on tape attached to the upper right corner “Sept. 1913”, in blue ink “3 (inside a circle) and in grease pencil “40”. Written on the back of both photographs in pencil “40” and the initials “JB”.
