Black and white picture of 2nd Ave. W. in Shaunavon, Sask. Buildings identifiable from left to right: “Empress (Shaunavon) Hotel, ?, ?, ?, Citizens Lumber Co. Ltd., and Rex Cafe”. Street is dirt and sidewalk is made of wood. There are some people on the street and some wagons and buggies. Written in grease pencil in the upper right boarder “32” and in black pen “17”. Written on the back in grease pencil “Spring of 1914”, in pencil is written “Empress Hotel / Rex Cafe has one story / 17”. The phot is taken look west down 2nd Ave.The negative is in the envelope.
