Black & White photograph of the HMS Tiptoe. She is in a bay, behind her are apartment buildings and other boats. There are 5 men standing on her and she is flying a British Flag. The back of the photo reads, in blue pen, “HMS Tiptoe, built 1944, I sailed on it 1964, R. McGregor”. On the front of the photo, at the bottom, in blue pen, reads “H.M.S. Tiptoe, R. McGregor”.
HMS Tiptoe was a British submarine of the third group of the T class. She was built by Vickers Armstrong, Barrow, and launched on 25 February 1944. WikipediaMaterials
