Black & White photograph of the HMCS Fraser (DDH 233). The photo has embossed in gold at the bottom centre “HMCS Fraser”. The photo is starting to get a yellowish tinge. HMCS Fraser (DDH 233) is a St. Laurent-class destroyer that served in the Royal Canadian Navy and later the Canadian Forces from 1957–1994. Fraser is the last survivor of the St. Laurent-class destroyer which were the first Canadian designed and built warship. It is likely that Richard McGregor spent time aboard this vessel.
