Description

Framed photographic collage of the Shaunavon Town Council from 1915. Item was framed by Binkley Bros., photographs by G. Preston, Shaunavon Studio, and was likely hung in Town Hall during the councils’ time in office. Later it hung in the office of Barr Lumber. Item was donated by George Barr, the Grandson of Mayor George Barr. Item has a wood frame. There is a yellowed paper backing that has 10 oval photographs glued on with the typed names glued below. People pictured are: Councillor H. E. Fennell, Councillor A. A. Gassard, Councillor A. W. Anderson, Coucillor R. Roycroft, Coucillor P. G. Mood, J. H. Ablett Chief of Police, E. F. Stedman Secretary Treasurer, E. A. Gee Town Solicitor, Geo. [George] Barr Mayor, Dr. J. R. Swanston Health Officer.
