Description
Black and white photographic negative of two buildings. One is flying a Union Jack the other sports a weather vein. Written in black ink on the upper right corner “8 (inside a circle)”, a black smug of some kind under it. Written in pencil on the back of the photo “Cottage school, year?, It was there in 1921 - Leo & I were taking Grade V there (Dora Stockton, teacher), and were moved to North End school to Grade VI (SE Corner Centre & 5th, Teacher Mrs. Bronner)”. Stamped on the pack of the photo are the numbers “3 8” in black ink. The smaller wooden building is the old museum. It is actually the Cottage and Strathcona school.Materials
