Photograph, Hymie Hanft's Jeep travelling over snow banks between Shaunavon and Gull Lake, February 1947. "The reason we were able to go over 20 FEET DEEP of snow, was we had put Anson Aircraft tires on the Jeep". In February 1947 a blizzard dumped massive amounts of snow. Some drifts were reported 15 to 20 feet. Highways were impassable for weeks
