Buildings easily identified are the Empress or Shaunavon Hotel, Kennedy Hotel, Ogden Bros. Feed and Sale Barn, City Meat Market and Groceries. . Written on the photo in black pen “2.5 miles away hills!”. Written on the back in black pen “Apr. 6. Dear Chum what is wrong with you? My you must be bussy: (ha ha). The weather is fine every body is in the fields. My school starts tomorrow in town again. Here is the picture of our new town, is six months old now. I am feeling fine, our new house is about half done. Write me a long letter & tell me all the news. Lovingly yours Nellie Miller”. Addressed to “Miss Emma Fenske, Cereal, Alta., Canada”.
