Description
Black and white picture of a parade in Shaunavon, view of north side of 3rd avenue west, 00 and 100 blocks. On the left side is a town policeman and in the centre are a group of Mounties on horses, the street sides are lined with people. Written in the lower left corner of the picture is the number 77 (in reverse), across the bottom in the margin is written James Ross, Police, 1916 or 17 (Kennedy Hotel burned 1918 in June). Written on the photo is Cars and Band. The numbers 57 and 77 are written in grease pencil in the upper right margin of the picture. Buildings visible from left to right are ?, Garage, Stevenson Bros. General Merchants and a hotel (Kennedy). On the back of the photo are written 1915, 77 and the number 8 stamped.
