Description Photograph of Maxwell Douglas McGregor [less than 1 year old] and his mother, taken 1898. Photo is mounted onto a cardboard frame. The frame is black with a gold design around the perimeter. At the bottom is reads, in gold: Johnson, N. C. J. Cloquet, Minn. The back side has pencil reading: Maxwell D. McGregor & Mother 1898. Photograph is a sepia color. The lady is wearing a black dress and she is looking at the baby that she is holding. The baby is in a long, white gown. The bottom left corner of the photo has been torn off. The bottom right corner of the frame has been torn off.
