Postcard with photograph of Shaunavon, pre 1939, showing west side of centre street, 100 and 200 block. Photograph shows Corner Hardware, Porter & Green Drug Store, Kings Barber Shoppe, McMahon & Co Ltd. General Store, Royal Cafe, Bransted's Pool Hall, Rex Cafe, and Shaunavon Hotel. Silent Policeman is visible at the Centre Street and 3rd Avenue intersection. Postcard is used, with a date stamp of November 27 1939. Addressed to M Leo Webster, Instow Sask. Message reads “Would appreciate return of proofs with instructions. Now is the time for finishing Christmas photos. Proofs submitted will work up well after being re-touched. Thanking you, Shaunavon Studio”. Item has a few creases. Edges are slightly worn. A bit of dirt. See also 2006.18.19i and 2013.51.1 (negative)
