It is a rectangular block of wood with a hand carved relief of the letter "P" backwards (movable typeface). The relief surface is dark red and carved down portion marked with dark red but the wood colour is still evident. The back is minority discoloured by dirt/grime and few marks of faded black and brown pigment.
