It is a rectangular block of wood with a hand carved relief of the number "@" backwards (movable typeface). The original coat of varnish is evident on the relief. The relief is dark red. The carved down portion is red and carving marks are evident. The back is discoloured by dirt and marked with faded red and brown pigment.
