It is a rectangular block of wood with a machine carved relief of the letter "R" backwards. The relief appears to be varnished or stained and is a combination of Burgundy, blue-grey and a light rose colour. The carved down portion is dark blue with a layer of dust. The back is marked with black, red and dark blue ink. HAs raised curved lines across surface.
