It is a rectangular block of wood with a machine carved relief of the letter "C". The relief appears to be varnished or stained and is a combination of dark red, brown and black. The carved down portion is dark red and black with layer of dust. The back appears to also be stained and varnished and is marked with black and red ink. Has raised curved lines across surface.
