It is a rectangular block of wood with a carved relief of the number "3" backwards. The relief is patchily stained with black ink. The carved down portion is brown and stained with red and black ink with a layer of dirt and grime. There is also a buildup of dirt around the outline of the "3". It appears to be carved by machine due to the lack of errors and consistency but there are marks of hand carving in some areas. There is also imprints of small circles between the ends of the three. The back is minimally marked with faded black lines.
