It is a rectangular block of wood with a carved relief of the number "4". The relief is stained with very dark burgundy ink and the carved area is stained dark red. The components of the "4" are very un-proportionate. The old accession number is written on a ticker on the bottom edge. The back is stained with dark blue ink with bright red/orange smudges. The back side must have been part of another block at one point. There are two lines of readable letters. The top line spells "AL G. BARN" backwards and the second line "BIG 5 R". ~root~>
