Promotional booklet on Swift Current, discussing the growth that the city of Swift Current will undergo in 1913. Contains information about the railway, granaries and flour manufacturing, population, local businesses and services, land office statistics, essay "An Eastern Opinion of Swift Current", building permits, water, fire protection, lighting and electricity, sewage and disposal, city officials, parks, sketch of the town's layout. There is also an advertisement for a store called Ontario Place. Photographs of the following: CPR yards; CPR roundhouse; grain elevators; zero block of Central Ave., east side; the Empress Hotel; SCCI; the Clinite Block under construction; Canadian Bank of Commerce; 0 and 100 block of Central Avenue; Swift Current Hardware Company under construction; Presbyterian Church under construction; Methodist Church under construction; Tudhope-Anderson Warehouse; Municipal Hospital; houses, including Edmanson House; a scene from the Swift Current Creek; a harvest scene near Swift Current.
