Wedding Dress Bodice (c.1845)

Description Bodice for a wedding dress. It is made of black silk with embossed roses, and has cream-coloured lace around the collar. The bodice also has cotton lining, flared sleeves, and ruffles from the shoulders to waist. The garment as a whole was made in Scotland.
