Brown Silk Parasol (c.1895)

Description Pure silk parasol. It is brown with dark brown silk fringe around top and bottom, as well as black stripes on the main section. The parasol also has a carved black wooden handle, metal stretchers or ribs, and a bone finial. When opened, it has a diameter of 56 cm. According to the donor information, it was used c.1895.
