"Y" style suspenders with looped cord that fastens to buttons around the waist of pants. The clothes were worn by Mrs. Green’s parents, Mr. and Mrs. Fritsch, at their wedding (February 1908) in Webb. They homesteaded south of Webb, Saskatchewan, where they resided until 1952, at which time they retired to Regina.
Fabric Strap; Metal
Text is stamped into metal hardware. Buckles: "President" on the front; "Pat. Aug. 23.92" [1892] and "Shirley Make" on the back. Pivoting rivets: "Pat Dec 4 1900" or "Pat Aug 14 1900".
