Fedora Hat (c.1911)

Description Fedora hat with a wide brim, and an indentation on the top. It has a brown colour that also appears to be a dark grey with a green overtone. There is also a hat band with a bow around the crown. The hat was purchased by William Lunan Senior at Jack Wood's menswear store in Swift Current c.1911.

Materials Wool Felt; Leather

Marks/Labels "Qualita Superiore // Borsalino Alessandria // Italia // Marca Depositat // Made In Italy For Jack Wood // Swift Current, Sask." is stamped inside the hat. The leather sweatband reads: "Borsalino // Grand - Prix Paris 1900" and "Antica Casa Fondata Nel // 1857 // Established 1857".
