Description Swift Current Collegiate Institute (SCCI) band on Central Avenue. Young men carrying musical instruments for a grade nine initiation in 1945. Visible businesses include Fownes & Grant, City Second-Hand Store, Exchange Cafe, Safeway. The two young men at the front are Ken Horne and Jim Howes.
