Description Booklet which includes a small biography of Lord Mount Stephen (born George Stephen), the first president of the Canadian Pacific Railway. It contains information about the building of the CPR and Stephen's role in it. The text is an address prepared by D.C. Coleman (Chairman and President of the CPR) and delivered to the Newcomen Society of England, the world's oldest society dedicated to the history of technology and engineering, in New York on July 11 1945.
