There are two pieces to this block. The middle piece was cut out of the main block 2015.1.124b (ii). Block ii: This block is a rectangle picture block stained a dark burgundy red with a section in the middle cut out. The top portion that is missing is a rectangle 5.7cm by 21.8cm, and a second rectangle below it 6.8cm by 31.9cm. The rest of the missing section fits the 2015.1.124b(i) block. The top part of the missing piece is 6.2cm from the top edge of the block. Front: Red stained block with the colour concentrated on the raised pieces of wood. There is a curve that borders the top edges. It begins 25.4cm from the top edge and covers the top side and around to the right side The raised/relief sections on the bottom make an image of the clown who is leaning back being pulled forward by his mallet. His hat is pointy and is 7.3cm tall and 5.3cm wide. Below is a 1.0cm wide circle that serves as his nose, and then a 3.5cm long curve that serves as his mouth. Below him and moving to the left are 18 shapes like circles and semi-circles that make up the design of his outfit. Along the bottom edge is his right shoe which is 20.0cm long. His left foot is sticking up and is 11.0cm long. Above and to the right is the mallet which has a diameter of 4.9cm. 19.2cm from the top edge on the left side there is a cut right through the wood, which separates the arm of the left side. Sides: the top side has a label with the previous temporary number on it. There are incisions in the corners of the sides of the inside where there is the section cut out. Back: there is a piece of masking tape on the left side with "DAG 275". The previous temporary number is written to the left of the tape in pencil. There is a strip of paper stuck to the right of the block. Block i: There are 5 sides to this block. The top side is 40.1cm long; the right side is 15.2cm. It then angles downward to the left for 13.9cm and then angles back upward to the left for 31.4cm. The left side is 13.2cm long. Front: flat block, stained red around the edges. It has been chiseled down with a tool with a circular head. Side: there is a label on the top side with the previous temporary number written on it Back: there is a piece of tape on the top with "DAG 275" written on it.
