Description Photograph, glued onto a page in volume 10 of the Kiwanis Club fonds - November 9, 2010 accrual, in the report entitled "Swift Current Kiwanis Club Park Committee Annual Report 1942", image of the original Kiwanis Park, located south of the hospital between 4th and 6th Avenue Northeast, taken in 1942, caption under the image reads "Cottonwoods growing on a very steep hot southern slope. The cottonwoods, however, shade the soil and the contour dykes hold water in the shade of the trees."
