Description Photograph, glued onto a page in volume 10 of the Kiwanis Club fonds - November 9, 2010 accrual, in the report entitled "Swift Current Kiwanis Club Park Committee Annual Report 1943", image of the original Kiwanis Park, located south of the hospital between 4th and 6th Avenue Northeast, taken in 1943, caption under the image reads "Water from the city water main pipes was turned on at the "still pond" in late July. The water is distributed from here through ditches and control gates to nearly all the trees in the Park. Thus the trees were protected from damage by the sever drought of 1943."
