2015.1.11
This printing block is a yellowish brown colour. It is completely straight and flat until the bottom where there is a design sunk into the wood block. The design is made from cardboard, and this gives it a bumpy appearance. On the bottom right is a saggy top of a triangle. The design continues on with three curves like hills or maybe buildings. Each curve is larger than the one before it. The third curve hits the edge of the left side of the block. The first curve has a circle peaking out from the top of it. The second one has three small curves on top and one small peak. The third is just a simple curve but is double the size of the first curve. There is a label with the previous accession number on it on the bottom side of the block. It is also written in permanent marker on the back. There are 3 strips of paper stuck to the top right part of the block. There are also nails in certain places on the design on the front of the block. It is a linoleum carved block, a linocut printing block.
